I have always been afraid... Always been pretending to follow you closely, alwyas been pretending to sharpen my teeth, when the truth is, I am ... scared to death just treading on your shadow.

Nobody can turn you into a slave unless you allow them. Nobody can make you afraid of anything, unless you allow them. Nobody can tell you to do something wrong, unless you allow them. God never created you to be a slave, man did. God never created division or set up any borders between brothers, man did. God never told you hurt or kill another, man did. So why is man your god, and not the Creator?

How much joy have I missed in life because I was too afraid to enjoy?

You feed your fears to grow muscles against you when you run away from what frightens you. Little do you know that it's frightened when you face it boldly!

One of the easiest ways to show your mercy to the world is to hide your fears from people who are already afraid. Don't kill them alive when you truly claim you love them!

Stay strong; disappointments will not stay for that long. Wipe away your tears; be ready to receive cheers from people all over the world, beginning from you!

If anger-pride-deceit-greed occur, let them occur. There is nothing wrong if you have thoughts of bad conduct, do not be afraid, however, you must repent (do pratikraman) and turn it around, this will result in a high level of dharmadhyan [auspicious contemplation] .

Rather than the one who gets angry, the world is more afraid of the one who does not get angry. Why? When anger ceases, grandeur of authority (pratap) arises. Such is the law of nature. Otherwise there would never be any protection for those who don't get angry. Anger provides protection during one's conduct in ignorance of the self.

Leaders don't fall in gutters of fear; only negative ideas flow in that canal. There, you will see filthy things like doubts and disbelief.

Leaders scan the future so it can be free of doubts and fear. They do so by not living a double standard life in the present.

Fear punches holes in your eyes so that you don't see the future clearly. Faith enlarges your vision to behold your destiny.

Because of fear, most people don't dream big. Because of fear, even those who dream big do not start working on them. Because of fear, those who start working on their dreams end up quitting too early.

If we know who we are and have gone through a process of self-identification in accordance with the creator's plan, we will no longer undervalue ourselves or be afraid

We fear that we are ugly, that we cannot succeed and we are afraid of something

You will have a lot of difficulties in achieving goals if you are indecisive and if you are afraid of incorrect actions

We cannot achieve or goal when we are afraid, not confident, passive and indecisive

When you're scared, you stay as you are!

I often find that people confuse inner peace with some sense of insensibility whenever something goes wrong. In such cases inner peace is a permit for destruction: The unyielding optimist will pretend that the forest is not burning either because he is too lazy or too afraid to go and put the fire out.

Those who speak of progression but are afraid of change are self-repressed and therefore unable to reach any further than their eyes can already see.

I write about adversity, I praise adversity, not to be pessimistic, but rather to strengthen myself. The more familiar that you are with it, the less likely you are to have a breakdown when it occurs. You become more reflective of its purpose, you understand God's reason for it, and are then able to make the best of everything that you are handed. The darkness is only frightening after constant sunshine.
