The perpetual movement of the water, rolling from and to unknown destinations, the voices of the sea shield us from the raging furies and shrieking sounds of dystopian surroundings, creating an unwinding veil for stilled happiness, acquainting us with the gentle, cosmic rhythms of an extraneous world. They are a soothing relief and let us listen to the voices of our inner world. (Voices of the sea )

Happiness is the inner perception of calmness, tranquility and joy.

If the outside [our outside circumstances] has become spoilt so be it, don't let the inside [our inner intent] spoil. If you don't have the money to pay off your debt, keep the intent pure within that you want to pay it off. Because you did not let the inner intent spoil, the time to pay off the debt will come.

Why is there inner burning [antar daah, inner suffering] present? Inner Burning [Antardaah] is not dependent/based on merit or demerit karma (paap-punya). Inner Burning [Inner suffering] is indeed present in both suffering producing karmas, unpleasant (ashata vedaniya) as well as pleasant (shata vedaniya). Inner Burning [Inner suffering] is dependent upon the wrong belief.

The people of great value are the people who have a noble inner man

The entire world above you, around you, beneath you, and beside you, is insignificant in comparison to the world within you.

What man knows is everywhere at war with what he wants.

We are sure to be losers when we quarrel with ourselves; it is a civil war, and in all such contentions, triumphs are defeats.

I hate and love. You ask, perhaps, how that can be? I know not, but I feel the agony.
