An army of the people is invincible!

I lived with my parents in Belarus, and I went to Russian kindergarten, which is where I learned Russian. Belarus had just become an independent country; there was no food in the supermarkets, so it looked very post-war, very Soviet.

Communism is Soviet power plus the electrification of the whole country.

In the old days, the Soviets were using space as a selling point for communism.

This power, this authority, Soviet power: they killed everybody who could make any resistance, who could explain his own way of thinking and who could follow his own way of thinking, of believing.

If kids can forget their own mothers but still have a sense of comrade Lenin, then Soviet power really is here to stay!

The Soviet government is the most realistic regime in the world - no ideals.
